|Long ago and far away I was an accountant in the financial services sector. Then my husband's work took us from London to Asia. I gave up my balance sheets and profit and loss accounts and had time to explore the culture and traditions of a new continent.
After Tokyo and Bangkok we moved to Hong Kong. I was lucky enough to meet someone proficient in the art of Chinese knotting. She always worked with jade and as I learnt more about this fascinating stone I was inspired to struggle with my pieces of coloured string and incomprehensible diagrams in pursuit of unique pieces to wear. Since relocating to Singapore I have had the opportunity to do some formal study in jewellery design and begin to learn metalworking techniques. I hope to update the website soon to show some of my more contemporary designs that use these new skills.
Meanwhile I hope you enjoy the gallery of my original pieces.
